Herman Miller Aeron Repair & Refurbishment
The Herman Miller Aeron chair was originally introduced in 1994. Early versions (commonly referred to as Mark 1) were produced from the mid-1990s through to the early 2000s. An updated version (often referred to as Mark 2) followed, featuring improvements such as lever-operated arm height adjustment instead of the earlier wheel mechanism. In 2016, Herman Miller introduced the Aeron Remastered, which included further design refinements, updated materials and improved ergonomic support. The Herman Miller Aeron chair has evolved over time, with several versions in circulation.

Herman Miller Aeron Repair & Refurbishment

We provide specialist repair kits and refurbishment services for Herman Miller Aeron chairs, including both classic models and the newer Remastered version.

The Aeron chair was originally introduced in 1994 and has since evolved through several versions. Earlier models (commonly referred to as Mark 1 and Mark 2) share a very similar overall design, while the Aeron Remastered, introduced in 2016, features updated ergonomics and components.

For simplicity, we group earlier models together as “Aeron Classic” and treat the Remastered as a separate model due to differences in parts and compatibility.

Aeron chairs are available in three sizes:

• Size A (small)  
• Size B (medium)  
• Size C (large)  

On classic Aeron models, the size can usually be identified by raised dots located under the top rear edge of the backrest:

• 1 dot = Size A  
• 2 dots = Size B  
• 3 dots = Size C  

Most repair components are compatible across sizes, but identifying the correct size helps ensure the best fit and performance.

Orangebox Do Chair Repairs

We provide repair kits and component replacements for Orangebox Do chairs, focusing on the most common wear points found in everyday use.
Common issues with Orangebox Do chairs include worn or damaged arm tops, seat wear and general component fatigue over time.

Arm Top Replacement

We offer replacement arm tops for both versions of the Orangebox Do chair:

• Height-adjustable arms (HBA arms)  
• Fixed arm versions  

Both types of arm tops are prone to wear through regular use and can be replaced to restore the appearance and comfort of the chair.
